What you’ll be doing:

As a Tech Lead at Quicargo, you'll be at the helm of our technological endeavors, leveraging your expertise in AWS and other key technologies to drive innovation and growth. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the development of new features for our web platform, ensuring a seamless end-to-end solution from conception to deployment. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, translating ideas into tangible solutions that meet our business needs.

Your role will involve hands-on leadership, guiding and mentoring a team of developers to deliver high-quality code and solutions. Drawing upon your experience with AWS, you'll be instrumental in managing cloud environments, including EC2 servers running Linux to host NodeJS applications and RDS servers, ensuring their smooth operation, security, and performance optimization.

In addition to your technical prowess, you'll bring leadership experience to the table, having led teams in dynamic startup environments. Your familiarity with Scrum methodologies will be invaluable as you orchestrate sprint ceremonies and foster a culture of agility and collaboration within the team.

Moreover, as part of our small yet ambitious team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion and growth of our technical team in the long term, playing a key role in shaping the future of Quicargo's technology landscape

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team: Take charge of guiding and mentoring a team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Developing, running, and hosting NodeJS applications: Utilize your expertise to design, develop, and deploy NodeJS applications on production using Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability with tools like PM2.
• Database management: Demonstrate proficiency in SQL to manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and efficiency in our systems.
• Programming proficiency: Utilize your experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and NodeJS to develop robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Cloud environment management (AWS Amazon):
  • EC2 server management: Oversee and manage EC2 servers running Linux to host NodeJS applications, ensuring seamless operation and performance optimization.
  • RDS server management: Handle the administration of RDS servers, including backup strategies, updates, and security policy implementations, to maintain data integrity and security.
• Startup leadership: Leverage your experience in leading teams within startup environments to navigate challenges, foster innovation, and drive growth in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
• Agile methodology: Utilize your familiarity with Scrum and Sprint ceremonies to effectively plan, execute, and iterate on development cycles, promoting agility and collaboration within the team.

• AngularJS: Experience with AngularJS would be advantageous for frontend development and enhancing user interfaces on our web platform.
• SequelizeJS and Postgres databases: Familiarity with SequelizeJS and Postgres databases would complement your database management skills, enabling you to work efficiently with different database technologies.
• Google GSuite Management: Experience in managing Google GSuite, including user administration and basic policy management, would streamline collaboration and productivity within the team.
• Product development knowledge: Knowledge about product development processes and methodologies would provide valuable insights into aligning technical solutions with product goals and user needs.
• Project estimation: Experience in estimating project timelines and features would facilitate effective project planning and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Startup leadership: Additional experience in leading teams within startup environments would further enhance your ability to thrive in our dynamic and fast-paced setting, navigating challenges and driving innovation.
